Leader Education are seeking experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) to support schools across Greater Manchester. This role is ideal for candidates who are confident supporting classroom teaching and delivering targeted interventions. As an HLTA, you will work closely with teachers to support learning, lead small group sessions and help pupils reach their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support teachers with the delivery of lessons and classroom learning activities.
  • Deliver small group interventions to support student progress.
  • Provide targeted support for pupils who require additional guidance.
  • Assist with behaviour management and classroom organisation.
  • Support assessment and monitoring of pupil progress.
  • Help maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.

Requirements

  • Experience working within a school environment.
  • HLTA qualification or relevant classroom experience.
  • Strong understanding of teaching support and behaviour management.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead small group learning activities.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
