Leader Education are currently seeking caring, resilient, and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to work within schools across Northumberland, supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The Role
- Providing 1:1 support for children with SEND
- Supporting pupils with their learning and classroom activities
- Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive behaviour
- Working closely with teachers and school staff to create a supportive learning environment

The Successful Candidate Will
- Have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
- Have experience working in a transferable role
- Follow personalised curriculums and care plans to meet pupil's requirements
- Work with pupils on both a 1:1 basis and in group settings, communicating effectively
- Participate in the planning and implementation of the curriculum through lesson planning and delivery
- Set up lessons, equipment and activities within the classrooms
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists and other teams to create a holistic supportive environment for pupils
