About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join a specialist team supporting students with complex educational needs, including social, emotional and mental health challenges, communication difficulties, and trauma-related behaviours. As part of a nurturing and innovative team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching and supporting students with a range of special educational needs (SEN).
  • Delivering engaging English lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Setting, marking and providing constructive feedback on assignments, homework, and assessments.
  • Supporting pupils in gaining a strong command of spoken and written English, enabling them to communicate confidently and effectively.

Ideal Candidate

  • Passionate about working with students with SEND.
  • Experienced – ideally with at least 2 years in a SEND environment or similar provision.
  • Qualified – QTS/QTLS is essential.
  • Committed to creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment.
