A leading global alternative investment advisory and asset management firm is hiring an experienced Hedge Fund Investment Professional to join its London team. The successful candidate will play a highly client-facing role, acting as a Hedge Fund-literate partner to institutional investors while working closely with internal investment specialists. The position offers meaningful exposure to business development, alongside deep investment content and portfolio construction discussions.

The Role

  • Senior, client-facing position within a global Hedge Fund platform
  • Act as the Hedge Fund expert for institutional investors and prospects
  • Communicate portfolio construction, performance, risk and market views
  • Translate manager-level and strategy analysis into clear, client-ready narratives
  • Support fundraising, marketing and business development initiatives

The Profile

  • 10–12 years’ experience in hedge funds, public markets or alternatives
  • Either:
  • Client-facing with strong investment and manager research fundamentals, or
  • Investment/research-focused and looking to move into a more external role
  • Deep understanding of hedge fund strategies, risk management and portfolio construction
  • Confident communicator with senior institutional stakeholders
