Analyst

Leadenhall Search are working with a boutique strategy consultancy that are the leading organiser of business-to-business trade shows. They run specialist exhibitions that bring buyers and suppliers together in sectors such as packaging, manufacturing, engineering, facilities, safety and supply chain. They runs events across Europe and in the UK, its portfolio includes well-known shows such as Packaging Innovations and Advanced Engineering.

They are backed by private equity and are growing quickly, both by launching new events and by buying others. Its UK team, based in South West London, is central to that growth.

Responsibilities

• Researching markets, competitors and industries to help find new growth opportunities
• Build and maintain financial models and business cases for new events, investments and acquisition targets
• Support acquisition work, including screening targets, gathering data for due diligence and preparing analysis
• Analyse how events are performing, including revenue, visitor and exhibitor numbers, and profit margins, and highlight trends and opportunities
• Prepare clear presentations, dashboards and reports for senior stakeholders
• Work with event, sales, marketing and finance teams to gather data and track progress on growth plans

Requirements

• Educated to Degree level
• 6-18 months of experience in consulting, ideally within strategy consulting.
• Experience in an events or M&A / corporate finance environment
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills, with advanced Excel proficiency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clear, data-driven insights.
