About Us & The Culture

At Leadenhall Law Group, we operate a high-energy, fast-paced residential property practice in Norwich. It is a busy, intense environment where no two days are the same—but you will never walk alone. We are a genuinely social, tight-knit firm where everyone backs each other up, challenges are tackled together, and successes are celebrated as a team.

We work on a 1:1 mentorship and pod model, pairing one Solicitor directly with one Paralegal. This means you will have dedicated, hands-on support to help run your caseload efficiently, allowing you to focus on high-level legal work, client care, and fee generation without getting bogged down in pure administration.

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and ambitious Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join our growing team in Norwich. You will run a varied caseload across freehold and leasehold transactions—including complex matters and handling Building Safety Act 2022 requirements—with the dedicated support of your assigned Paralegal.

Unlike other firms where relationships with estate agents can be strained, we take a collaborative approach. We build and maintain close, harmonious working relationships with our agents—we view them as partners, support each other to get deals across the line, and even meet up with them regularly at social events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Caseload Management: Autonomously manage and complete a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to post-completion, including complex leasehold, freehold, and Building Safety Act 2022 matters.
  • 1:1 Pod Leadership: Work side-by-side with your dedicated Paralegal, delegating tasks effectively and mentoring them within your 1:1 pod.
  • Client & Stakeholder Relations: Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-standing, collaborative relationships with clients, estate agents, lenders, and key industry referrers.
  • Billing & Performance: Maintain a strong, trackable billing performance using our full case management systems.
  • First Line of Contact: Handle incoming mainline phone calls for the firm in a professional, outgoing, and supportive manner.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience & Billing History: As a qualified Conveyancing Solicitor with a proven track record in residential conveyancing (including leasehold, freehold, and Building Safety Act 2022 compliance), you must have a demonstrated history of consistent billing and be prepared to discuss your billing history, caseload volumes, and performance metrics in detail at the interview stage.
  • Mindset: Proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially minded with a hunger to achieve and exceed billing targets.
  • Team-First Ethos: A collaborative team player who thrives in a highly social, fast-moving environment and actively supports colleagues.
  • Key Skills: Exceptional communication, strong organisational abilities, and a track record of managing complex transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

Why Join Us? (Benefits & Perks)

  • Industry-Leading Annual Bonus Scheme: We directly reward high performers.
  • Clear Career Progression: Structured, visible pathways for professional development and career advancement within the firm.
  • Hybrid Working Model: Upon successful completion of your 6-month probation period, you can work 2 days per week from home (Monday–Thursday).
  • Vibrant Social Culture: A supportive, highly social office atmosphere with regular team events, outings, and joint social gatherings with our network of estate agents.
  • Vitality Healthcare Package: Includes comprehensive mental health support, discounted gym memberships, and exclusive discounts across food, retail, and leisure.
  • Full office closure between Christmas and New Year (without eating into your core holiday allowance).
  • Your Birthday off every year to celebrate.
  • Dress Down Friday on the last Friday of every month.
