Job Title: Residential Conveyancing Paralegal

Location: London EC3M

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 DOE

Experience : 1 +Year PQE minimum

About Us & The Culture

We operate a high-energy, fast-paced residential property practice in the heart of London. It is a busy, intense environment where no two days are the same—but you will never walk alone. We are a genuinely social, tight-knit firm where everyone backs each other up, challenges are tackled together, and successes are celebrated as a team.

We work on a 1:1 mentorship model, pairing one Paralegal directly with one Solicitor. This means you won't get lost in a massive pool; you will receive direct support, high-level exposure, and a clear, transparent pathway to progress your legal career.

The Role

We are looking for an outgoing, motivated, and eager-to-learn Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join our close-knit team. You will be the engine room of your 1:1 pod, running live files alongside your Solicitor from initial instruction through to post-completion, while also acting as a friendly, confident voice on our main office telephone line for incoming client calls.

Unlike other firms where relationships with estate agents can be strained, we take a collaborative approach. We build and maintain close, harmonious working relationships with our agents—we view them as partners, support each other to get deals across the line, and even meet up with them regularly at social events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 1:1 Fee-Earner Support: Work side-by-side with your designated Solicitor to manage, progress, and execute a varied residential conveyancing caseload.
  • Agent & Client Relations: Build strong, harmonious relationships with estate agents, clients, lenders, and third parties, delivering exceptional service and collaborative communication throughout the transaction.
  • First Line of Contact: Handle incoming mainline phone calls for the firm with an outgoing, professional, and helpful manner.
  • File Management & Documentation: Prepare contract packs for sales, request pre-assignment packs/mortgage redemption statements, order property and Land Registry searches, progress enquiries, and draft reports.
  • Administrative & Systems Control: Manage post, update case management/ledger systems, and maintain strict compliance and company policy standards.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year's hands-on experience within a residential conveyancing department (pre-instruction to post-completion).
  • Mindset: Outgoing, highly motivated, adaptable, and genuinely hungry to learn and develop your legal skill set.
  • Team-First Ethos: A natural team player who thrives in a highly social, collaborative environment and looks out for colleagues during peak periods.
  • Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, exceptional time management, and the ability to stay focused under pressure in a fast-moving office.

Why Join Us? (Benefits & Perks)

  • Clear Career Progression: Structured, visible pathways for career growth—we actively invest in pushing our paralegals forward to become the fee earners of tomorrow.
  • Hybrid Working Model: Modern, vibrant London office setting. Upon successful completion of your 6-month probation period, you can work 1 day per week from home (Monday–Thursday).
  • Vibrant Social Culture: A supportive, highly social office atmosphere with regular team events, outings, and joint social gatherings with our network of estate agents.
  • Vitality Healthcare Package: Includes comprehensive mental health support, discounted gym memberships, and exclusive discounts across food, retail, and leisure.
  • Full office closure between Christmas and New Year (without eating into your core holiday allowance).
  • Your Birthday off every year to celebrate.
  • Dress Down Friday on the last Friday of every month.
