About the Role
Lead the global Data & Business Intelligence (DBI) department to elevate how data supports decisionâmaking across the organization. Oversee a multidisciplinary team of ~20 people, partner with executive leadership and senior stakeholders across Product, Tech, Marketing, Finance, HR, and Operations, and transform data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Define and own Lead Tech's global Data, BI, and Insights strategy aligning with business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and scale the DBI organization across Analytics, Data Science, BI, Engineering, and Analytics Engineering.
- Establish data governance, quality standards, and best practices to ensure reliable, secure, compliant data use.
- Drive evolution of the BI ecosystem, dashboards, and reporting frameworks for selfâservice analytics.
- Partner with executive leadership to define key metrics, KPIs, and insight needs.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for technical and nonâtechnical stakeholders.
- Oversee data architecture, tooling, and analytics platforms in collaboration with Tech and Engineering teams.
- Promote a dataâdriven culture and improve data literacy organizationâwide.
- Prioritize analytics and data initiatives based on business impact, ROI, and strategic value.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, etc.) and internal security standards.
- Represent the DBI function at leadership forums and contribute to companyâwide strategic decisions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a senior data leader (Director, Head of Data, Head of BI, etc.) in a digital or tech environment.
- Strong background in Business Intelligence, analytics, and data strategy.
- Demonstrated success leading and scaling global data teams.
- Deep knowledge of BI tools, data warehouses, analytics platforms, and modern data stacks.
- Excellent stakeholderâmanagement skills with ability to influence at executive level.
- Solid understanding of KPIs, metrics frameworks, and decisionâmaking across business functions.
- Experience working in international, fastâgrowing, agile environments.
- Outstanding communication skills, turning data into compelling stories.
- Strategic mindset with a pragmatic, handsâon leadership approach.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
