Renewables Project Engineer / Design Engineer Renewables Project Engineer / Design Engineer require for our client they are renewable heating and ventilation company based in Wallingford, Oxfordshire. They specialise in carbon-saving solutions, offering design, installation, supply, and support for renewable energy systems. They form as part of a wider group who employ more then 100 members of staff across 6 sites in the UK. They currently require the Renewables Project Engineer to work from the office in Wallingford and attend regionwide sites. Renewables Project Engineer / Design Engineer Responsibilities – Providing accurate and effective estimates for air source heat pump, MVHR, and underfloor heating systems – Ability to assess project plants, allocating required project labour and labour costs, source and costs for materials, and other related project expense – Attending site meetings to determine project scope, analyse specifications, and drawings – Assist in the design and specification for renewable energy installation projects – Maintain company records including comprehensive database of cost information – Discussing client requirements and creating initial conception to present to projects delivery team – Ensure the wider team, clients, and agents / vendors are up to date with project progress Renewables Project Engineer / Design Engineer Requirements – Previous experience in a similar position – 2 years experience working in a Mechanical, Electrical or Renewable Energy estimation or design position – Experience in specifications, design, and drawing for Renewable Energy Systems – Industry relevant qualifications such as BSc (Hons) in Renewable Energy (Desirable) – Reside within a commutable distance of Wallingford Renewables Project Engineer / Design Engineer Remuneration – Salary £35,000 – £45,000 – 25 Days Holiday + BH – On-site Parking – Life Assurance 3x Annual Salary – Pension – Ongoing salary review – Ongoing product training
