Lead Mechanical Installation Engineer / Lead Pipefitter required for our client, a Mechanical Contractor based in Leeds. The Lead Mechanical Installation Engineer / Lead Mechanical Fitter will travel throughout the Yorkshire regions attending commercial mechanical fit out projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working on occupied commercial properties carrying out plant room replacement work
  • Responsibilities include pipework installation and replacements, installing radiators, cylinders, hot water systems, pumps, booster sets, boilers etc.
  • 1st and 2nd fix of commercial plumbing systems
  • Overseeing other engineers/installers and ensuring work is complete to a high standard
  • Undertake training of junior engineers and apprentices

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plumbing and heating
  • ACS Commercial Gas Tickets - desirable
  • Based in the Yorkshire area
  • Full UK Driving License

Remuneration:

  • Salary £42,000 - £45,000 (Expected earning £65,000 - £70,000)
  • Door to door travel pay at OT rates
  • Overnight allowance of £35 per night
  • Overtime available
