Our Client requires a Pipefitter / Welder who specialises in industrial and commercial gas, mechanical, and electrical services, offering a full suite of plant room re-fit, service, and repair works, alongside design, installation, and fabrication of off-site bespoke pipework and plant projects. The Pipefitter / Welder will work from the fabrication shop in Leeds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble pipework systems for mechanical plant rooms using various jointing methods including TIG, MIG, MMA, brazing, etc.
- Install pipework for HVAC, chilled water, LTHW, and gas services.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and pipework schematics.
- Install fabricated components on site.
- Conduct tests on piping systems to identify leaks or malfunctions.
- Ensure work is carried out in line with company health, safety, and compliance policies.
Requirements:
- Level 2 Diploma/ NVQ in Welding or Engineering (Advantageous).
- CSCS.
- Based within a commutable distance of Leeds.
- Full UK Driving License.
Remuneration:
- Salary £42,000 - £48,000.
- Travel pay after 15 mins.
- Overnight allowance of £35 per night.
- Overtime available.
