HIU Engineer

Full-Time No home office possible

Our Client;

HIU Engineer required for our client, they are a Domestic, Commercial, and Industrail Heating Contractor based in Glasgow who have been established for over 20 years. They specialise in residential, industrial and commercial gas, mechanical, and electrical services, offering a full suit of plant room re-fit, service, and repair works. The Heating Engineer will travel throughout the East Lothian, West Lothian, and Edinburgh and will attend domestic boiler and HIU breakdown, repair and service work.

Heating Engineer / HIU Engineer Key Responsibilities

Service, repair, and maintain heat interface units / HIU\’s, and domestic boilers (if qualified)
Identify and diagnose problems with gas appliances and systems
Repair and maintenance to hot and cold water systems
Perform regular maintenance on gas appliances and systems to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently
Ensure paperwork is complete on time and accurately

Heating Engineer / HIU Engineer Requirements

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plumbing and heating
Experience in maintenance and service or HIU\’s
ACS Domestic Gas Tickets (Advantageous)
ACS Commercial Gas Tickets (Advantageous)
Based in within a commutable distance of East Lothian, West Lothian, Edinburgh, and surrounding areas
Full UK Driving License
