Our client is a well-established heating and renewables contractor, providing installation, servicing, and maintenance for gas, central heating, and renewable energy systems across domestic and commercial markets throughout the UK. They currently partner with organisations such as Cambridgeshire County Council, Scottish Power, and Octopus Energy. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Heat Pump Engineer / Renewable Energy Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be required to travel throughout areas such as Cambridge, Ely, Peterborough and Newmarket.

Heat Pump Engineer / Renewable Energy Engineer Duties:

  • Service, fault finding, and maintenance of air source and ground source heat pumps across private residential and light commercial properties
  • Diagnose system issues and complete repairs to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Undertake maintenance of general heating systems and underfloor heating
  • Work as part of a team installing heat pump systems as and when required
  • Working on general heating systems, including radiators, underfloor heating, and associated equipment
  • Ensure all works are compliant with MCS standards

Heat Pump Engineer / Renewable Energy Engineer Requirements:

  • Relevant industry qualifications such as BPEC – Heat Pumps (desirable)
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating (desirable)
  • Our client will consider both plumbing/heating and electrically biased candidates
  • F-Gas (Advantageous)
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Heat Pump Engineer / Renewable Energy Engineer Remuneration:

  • Salary £45,000 – £52,000
  • Overtime available
  • Life assurance

  • 20 days holiday + BH (22 days after 1 year)
