Our Client: Commercial Gas Engineer required for our client, a Commercial Heating Contractor based in Edinburgh. Specialising in commercial heating, plumbing, and water management services, the company has over 30 years of experience and works with various sectors, such as schools, hotels, sports stadiums, and government buildings. The Commercial Gas Engineer will travel throughout Edinburgh and surrounding areas, with work occasionally spreading throughout the Central Belt.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, repair, and maintain gas appliances and systems in commercial properties such as shopping centres, entertainment complexes, sports stadiums, warehouses, and student accommodation.
  • Identify and diagnose problems with commercial gas appliances and systems.
  • Replace or repair gas appliances and systems as needed.
  • Perform regular maintenance on gas appliances and systems to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure that all work complies with local building codes and gas safety regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Troubleshoot and repair gas leaks in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer.
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plumbing and heating.
  • ACS Commercial Gas Tickets.
  • Full UK Driving License.

Remuneration:

  • Salary £42,000 - £47,000.
  • 39 hour working week (Early Finish Friday).
  • Call out 1 in 6/7.
  • Travel pay after 30 minutes.
  • Company Van.
