Role – Senior Landscape Architect/Planner

Location – Greater Manchester

Salary – £40 – £45K

We are working with a leading multidisciplinary studio with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, innovative, and sustainable design solutions across a variety of sectors. As part of their continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Senior Landscape Architect to join thier dynamic team. Their projects range from refurbishing existing buildings to designing new developments. They are looking for a Senior Landscape Architect with strong design and technical skills to lead projects from concept through to completion.

Their studio is well-positioned within a thriving commercial hub, benefiting from excellent transport links. The city’s extensive tram network, frequent bus services, and major rail connections make it easily accessible.

THE ROLE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage landscape architecture projects across various sectors
  • Develop creative and sustainable landscape designs, masterplans, and public realm schemes
  • Oversee project delivery, including planning applications, technical drawings, and site supervision
  • Mentor and support junior team members
  • Engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, policies, and best practices
  • KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • A degree or postgraduate qualification in Landscape Architecture
  • A Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent design skills, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and other relevant software
  • Strong knowledge of UK planning policy, landscape legislation, and sustainability best practices
  • Ability to lead projects, manage multiple deadlines, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
