Salary: £45- £55K DOE
Lead Careers are looking for a Principal Ecologist for a multidisciplinary consultancy based in London. While this is a great opportunity for someone already at principal level, we will also consider a senior looking for a step up to principal level. We employ a great team of ecologists, landscape architects and environmental consultants who work on projects varying in scale across the residential, commercial, transport and education sectors.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- A degree in Ecology or a closely related subject
- Full membership of CIEEM
- Proven experience in undertaking Ecological Impact Assessments
- A Bat Licence and at least one other protected species licence
- Experience with Ecological Impact Assessment (including Preliminary Environmental Assessment and EcIA)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- The ability to work independently
- A full & clean driving licence is essential
