Role – Part 3 Architect Location – Essex Salary – £DOE A growing, design-led architecture practice is seeking a talented Part 3 Architect to join its collaborative team in Essex. The studio has a reputation for bold ideas, creative thinking, and a strong focus on sustainability, with projects spanning residential, mixed-use, education, and conservation. The successful candidate will take responsibility for projects through all RIBA stages, from concept to completion. This will include preparing feasibility studies and design proposals, producing detailed technical drawings and planning submissions, and overseeing delivery on site. A key part of the role will be maintaining a sustainability-first approach, incorporating carbon modelling, material selection, and life-cycle assessments into everyday practice. The role also offers the opportunity to mentor junior colleagues, contribute to design reviews, and work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors. The practice has a friendly, open culture and encourages creative input at all levels.
