Our client, a large multidisciplinary consultancy, is looking to bring in an experienced Principal Landscape Architect/Planner to join its growing team. They work across landscape architecture, planning, urban design, engineering and environmental services, delivering projects that help shape future ready communities. Their work ranges from public realm and waterfront schemes through to strategic masterplanning, infrastructure, regeneration and environmentally led developments.
This is a role for someone who enjoys working within collaborative multidisciplinary teams and wants exposure to a broad mix of projects at different scales. The successful candidate would be involved in landscape planning, assessment, design development and wider project coordination, working closely with planners, urban designers, engineers and environmental specialists.
The position would suit someone with a strong background in landscape planning or landscape architecture who is comfortable managing project packages, supporting clients and contributing to both technical and creative project work.
PRINCIPAL LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT RESPONSIBILITIES- Preparing landscape and visual assessments
- Supporting planning and development projects
- Landscape strategy and concept input
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams across planning, engineering and environmental disciplines
- Contributing to reports, presentations and technical documentation
- Client and stakeholder coordination
- Supporting junior team members where required
- Degree qualified in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline
- Chartered status or working towards chartership preferred
- Experience within landscape planning, LVIA or landscape architecture
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- Ability to manage workloads across multiple live projects
- Experience working within multidisciplinary environments would be beneficial
