Our client, an established, design-led landscape architecture studio is looking to appoint an Assistant Landscape Architect with around three or more years' industry experience to join its collaborative studio team. This is an excellent opportunity to become involved in a broad range of high-quality projects across the UK and internationally, working alongside experienced landscape architects from concept design through to project delivery.
THE OPPORTUNITY
You'll work closely with senior members of the team, assisting with the development of landscape designs while gaining exposure to every stage of the design process. As your experience develops, you'll gradually take on greater responsibility, with the aim of managing your own projects under guidance.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
- Producing landscape designs and presentation material
- Preparing detailed technical drawing packages
- Creating planting plans and schedules
- Assisting with contract administration and project delivery
- Supporting the wider studio with a variety of project-related tasks
ABOUT YOU
- A strong eye for landscape design with excellent graphic presentation skills, both hand drawn and digital
- A sound understanding of landscape construction appropriate to your level of experience
- Good planting knowledge and an interest in horticulture
- Confident communication skills with colleagues, consultants, contractors and clients
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detail
- A full UK driving licence
