Our client, a well-established landscape architecture studio is looking for a Senior Landscape Planner to take real ownership of its planning and LVIA work from its Leeds office. The projects are interesting and they are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys the planning side of landscape and wants the space to shape how it is done. As the Lead Landscape Planner you would be the person people turn to when planning matters. You would set the tone, lead the assessments, and help the wider team think more clearly about how landscape and planning work together.

Senior Landscape Planner Role Responsibilities

  • Leading LVIA work from early thinking through to submission
  • Helping shape planning strategy alongside designers rather than commenting at the end
  • Talking directly with clients and planning officers
  • Improving how reports are written, reviewed and presented
  • Supporting others who want to improve in planning and assessment

About You

  • You already know LVIA and planning inside out
  • You’re comfortable having an opinion and explaining it
  • You prefer clarity over corporate process and want to be part of a studio where planning has a real voice rather than being an afterthought
  • You do not need to be sold the idea of landscape planning, ideally you’re probably already doing it and wondering where the next step is
