Role – Landscape Architect/Planner

Location – Leeds

Salary – £35-£40K DOE

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree or postgraduate degree in Landscape Architecture
  • Experience delivering Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments
  • Experience in the successful delivery of landscape and urban design projects
  • Experience managing landscape design during the construction phase
  • Excellent technical skills and proficiency in Autodesk and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Fluent spoken English with excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills
  • A full & clean driving licence and full right to work in the UK

Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage smaller projects and support delivery of specific tasks within larger projects
  • Conduct strategic and feasibility/concept studies
  • Prepare Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals for both linear and site-based projects
  • Prepare Townscape and Visual Impact Appraisals
  • Produce preliminary/speculative design and detailed design, including general arrangement drawings
  • Develop hard & soft construction detailing, schedules & specifications to support planning applications
  • Prepare tender and construction packages, manage construction/post‑construction inspections
  • Support the development of relationships with existing and new clients in public and private sectors
  • Assist in the preparation of bids ranging from small to complex multidisciplinary projects
  • Manage and delegate project work to junior team members
  • Maintain client liaison
