Lead Careers is working with a landscape studio who are on the lookout for an Associate Landscape Planner to join their growing team. THE ROLE

As an Associate Landscape Planner, you'll be at the heart of some exciting and diverse projects. From assessing sites to creating plans that balance design and sustainability, you'll help shape everything from countryside homes to large‐scale developments including country parks and wave parks. You'll work closely with a creative team and external partners to bring ideas to life, ensuring each project is sensitive to its environment while pushing forward innovative design solutions. Whether leading site appraisals, collaborating with clients, or contributing to visualisations, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact and grow your career in a supportive, dynamic environment.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • A degree in landscape architecture
  • Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute
  • At least 4 years of experience in Landscape Planning
  • Proven expertise in site assessments
  • Experience with urban, strategic, and large‐scale projects
  • A deep understanding of Green Belt, scenic landscapes, and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA)
  • Experience as an expert witness (bonus points if you've testified or helped others!)
  • A love for planning policies
  • Familiarity with tall building assessments is a plus
