We are working with a well-established, multi-disciplinary studio in Cardiff who is looking for a Landscape Architect to join their growing team. They have been shaping landscapes and communities for 2 decades and while they work out of 3 regional offices, this role will be based from their Cardiff office.

They work across a mix of project sizes, types and complexities including world class leisure facilities, renewable energy schemes, public realm improvements and nature-led design work. The office is a family friendly atmosphere, collaborative and down-to-earth, it’s the kind of place where people support each other and there’s lots of room to grow. It’s also well-connected by public transport, so getting in and out is easy whether you’re coming from Cardiff or further afield.

THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong interest in both the natural and built environment. The successful candidate will work on a broad spectrum of projects including world class leisure facilities, renewable energy schemes, public realm improvements and nature-led design work. You won’t just be delivering great landscape work (though that’s a given). You’ll also be helping to drive the direction of projects and supporting more junior team members in their development.

YOUR SKILLS

They’re looking for someone who’s not only confident in delivering landscape design and assessment work but is also comfortable leading on projects and being a go-to for clients. A strong interest in both design and planning is essential, this is a multidisciplinary environment where those two elements go hand in hand. You’ll need strong communication skills, a solid technical base, and a knack for keeping things moving. You should be able to manage your own workload (and help others with theirs) and ideally bring some experience of team or project leadership.

ON OFFER

The benefits package includes:

  • 30 days of annual leave plus bank holidays and your birthday off
  • Hybrid working and flexible hours
  • 5% pension contribution
  • Private healthcare
  • Life assurance
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Programme
  • Profit share bonus scheme
  • Internal training and development opportunities

This is a fantastic opportunity for a landscape professional to thrive in a supportive, forward-thinking consultancy and make a meaningful contribution to landscape and environmental design.
