Role – Landscape Architect Location – Birmingham Salary - £35 – £38K Are you a Landscape Architect with an interest or bias towards Landscape Planning? We are working with a reputable Landscape Architecture Practice in Birmingham, who are looking for a Landscape Architect. The successful landscape architect will work alongside Senior Landscape Architects on a variety of schemes geared towards Landscape Visual Impact Assessments. There will be an element of design focus incorporated in the role but at this stage the need for someone keen on assessment work takes priority. Hybrid working arrangements are on offer with members of the team working 2-3 days from home and in the office. LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT KEY REQUIREMENTS * A degree in Landscape Architecture * 2 - 3 years post graduate experience * Proven track record in Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments and their application * Experience in landscape character assessment and appraisal * Creative interest in green infrastructure and environmental design and management * Good written skills * Good CAD/GIS and graphic software ability * An understanding of procedures and guidance relating to the preparation of visualisations desirable * Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact comfortably with people at all levels and within different disciplines * A full UK driving licence * Willing to travel throughout the country to undertake site visits ON OFFER * A competitive salary commensurate with the experience * A flexible approach to remote working * 5% contributory pension scheme * Private medical insurance * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * Training and career development opportunities * A friendly work environment You must be based in the UK and have a Landscape Architecture degree to be considered for this role.
