A well-established, multi-disciplinary consultancy with almost 20 years of expertise in landscape architecture, planning, ecology, and architecture. Their team of 13 professionals is large enough to deliver high-quality, comprehensive services but small enough that every contribution is valued.

They work on a variety of projects, from landscape-led developments in World Heritage Sites to industry-leading leisure developments in SSSI locations. Their expertise extends to renewable energy projects, including solar farms, and they frequently represent clients at appeal and in court.

With a strong pipeline of work and ambitious growth plans, they’re looking for an experienced Principal or Associate Landscape Architect to play a key role in shaping their team, leading projects, and driving innovation in their landscape and planning services.

THE ROLE

  • Leading and delivering complex LVIA projects across a wide range of sectors
  • Managing and mentoring junior team members, supporting their professional development
  • Overseeing planning applications, environmental assessments, and expert witness work
  • Providing strategic advice to clients, ensuring the highest standards of design and planning
  • Representing clients at appeal and in court when required
  • Collaborating with their ecology and architecture teams to deliver integrated solutions
  • Contributing to business development, helping to win new work and expand their client base

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Landscape Architecture
  • Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute
  • Strong expertise in LVIA, planning, and landscape design
  • Experience managing projects and leading teams
  • Ability to develop client relationships and win new work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite (Desirable)
  • A full UK driving license and own vehicle
