Our client is a leading multidisciplinary consultancy who work across landscape planning, design, and assessment, helping to shape great places across the UK. Their projects range from major infrastructure and urban regeneration to residential and commercial developments.
They are looking for a Director of Landscape Architecture with a bias towards LVIA and Landscape Planning to help drive their team forward.
THE ROLE
This is a senior leadership role, requiring an experienced professional who can drive business growth, lead complex projects, and inspire a team of talented landscape architects.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Leading and developing the Landscape Architecture team
- Overseeing and delivering high-quality LVIA, TVIA, and landscape planning reports for a variety of developments, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects
- Providing strategic direction, ensuring best practices in landscape design and environmental sustainability
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, securing new business opportunities and expanding their project portfolio
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- A Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI)
- Significant experience in landscape planning and LVIA
- Strong technical expertise in LVIA, landscape character assessments, green infrastructure planning, and environmental impact assessments
- Demonstrable experience in leading teams and managing large-scale projects
- Excellent business development and client management skills
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management abilities
- A passion for creating high-quality landscapes that enhance the built and natural environment
- A full UK Driving Licence
