We're on the hunt for an Associate/Principal Landscape Architect (CMLI) to join a Bristol based studio in a design-focused role. Our client is a multidisciplinary consultancy studio, established for 20 years and renowned for creating places that enhance communities, promote sustainability, and improve the built environment. The studio consists of Landscape Architects, Planners and Urban Designers who work on a wide range of projects, from public realm design and urban regeneration to landscape-led masterplanning.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is all about great design. We’re looking for someone who can lead projects from concept through to delivery, bringing fresh ideas, strong technical knowledge, and a collaborative approach. You’ll be working on a variety of public realm, urban regeneration, and landscape-led masterplanning projects, helping shape places that make a real difference to people’s lives.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Developing high-quality landscape designs
  • Leading projects through all stages
  • Supporting junior team members and contributing to a creative, positive studio culture
  • Working closely with clients, local authorities, and other disciplines
  • Helping to grow their design portfolio by contributing to bids and proposals

KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • A degree/post graduate degree in Landscape Architecture
  • CMLI with a strong track record in landscape architecture
  • A passion for great design
  • Strong conceptual thinking and an eye for detail
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design tools
  • A good understanding of UK planning policy and sustainability principles
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
