Our client, a multidisciplinary consultancy, is looking for an Associate Landscape Architect to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to lead exciting landscape and public realm projects, contribute to business development, and support the continued growth of the company. As an Associate Landscape Architect, you will play a key leadership role within the practice and oversee project delivery, mentor junior staff, and work closely with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes. You will be involved in a diverse range of projects, including masterplanning, public realm design, green infrastructure, residential developments, regeneration schemes, and urban landscape proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage landscape design projects from concept through to construction.
- Prepare and review design drawings, reports, presentations, and tender documentation.
- Liaise with clients, local authorities, and external consultants.
- Contribute to planning applications, including LVIA and supporting documentation.
- Support and mentor junior members of the landscape team.
- Maintain project budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
- Assist with business development, fee proposals, and bid submissions.
About You
- Degree in Landscape Architecture (or equivalent) and Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite).
- Demonstrable experience delivering projects within the UK planning context.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
