Lead Careers are working with a growing multidisciplinary environmental consultancy that is looking to appoint an Associate or Associate Director Landscape Designer to play a key role in the continued expansion of its landscape design team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Landscape Architect with a strong design background to lead projects, mentor colleagues and help shape the future direction of a growing design service.
Working alongside planners, ecologists, heritage consultants and visualisation specialists, you will lead the design of high-quality external environments across residential, regeneration and mixed-use developments, taking projects from concept through to planning and detailed design.
THE ROLE
- Leading landscape design projects from concept through to detailed design
- Producing innovative landscape proposals for residential, mixed-use and regeneration schemes
- Preparing landscape masterplans, public realm designs and planting strategies
- Producing planning drawings and presentation material to support planning applications
- Working closely with architects, planners, ecologists and heritage consultants to deliver coordinated design solutions
- Managing projects, programmes and client relationships
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring junior landscape staff
