Ready to take your landscape architecture career to the next level? Our client, a multidisciplinary consultant based in central Birmingham is looking for an Associate Landscape Architect to join their team.
As an Associate Landscape Architect, you’ll lead and manage resources while working hands-on with a variety of projects from small to large. You’ll be involved in everything from exciting residential and urban regeneration plans to detailed designs for public spaces. Strong design skills are a must, and it’s important that you’ve got solid experience guiding projects through every stage from start to finish. You’ll work closely with clients, mentor junior designers, and help create landscapes that make a real difference.
The office is centrally located with excellent transport links. It’s easily accessible by train, bus, and major road networks, making commuting straightforward whether coming from within the city or surrounding areas. Birmingham New Street, Moor Street, and Snow Hill stations are all within walking distance, providing strong regional and national connectivity.
QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY SKILLS
- A degree in Landscape Architecture
- A Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute Landscape Architect (CMLI)
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within a consultancy or multidisciplinary setting
- The ability to lead projects, from concept to completion
- Knowledge of UK planning policy, landscape legislation, and environmental assessment processes
- Strong report writing, analytical, and visual communication skills
- Proficient in GIS, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or CAD-based software
- The ability to mentor junior members of the team
- A full UK driving licence
