Lead Careers are working with a London based studio that has an exciting opportunity for Graduate Landscape Architect. The successful candidate will become part of a collaborative landscape architecture team working on a diverse range of projects across the UK, including public realm, residential, education, healthcare and commercial developments.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to develop their technical and design skills within a supportive environment, with structured professional development and guidance towards chartership.
THE GRADUATE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT ROLE
- Supporting senior team members in the design and delivery of landscape architecture projects
- Preparing landscape drawings, reports and specifications for hard and soft landscaping
- Assisting with the preparation of cost estimates and technical documentation
- Attending site visits and gaining practical experience of project delivery
- Collaborating with architects, engineers and other built environment professionals
- Contributing creative ideas to sustainable and innovative landscape design solutions
- Developing professional skills while working towards chartered status with the Landscape Institute
GRADUATE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT REQUIREMENTS
- A degree or postgraduate qualification in Landscape Architecture
- Good design, presentation and communication skills
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp
- An understanding of hard and soft landscape design, planting and construction materials
- A creative approach with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm for professional development
