Hybrid role requiring 4 days per week on site in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

FibroFind are a contract research organisation, founded and led by a team of world-renowned scientists and backed by a collaborative growth equity partner. Specialising in providing world-class research solutions in fibrotic disease, FibroFind offer scalable and ethically sourced human tissue models. Now, at a pivotal stage in their journey, they are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to further accelerate growth. Based in Newcastle upon Tyne, they are a highly profitable business who have achieved very successful organic growth.

This is an opportunity to join a hands-on team, who celebrate an entrepreneurial environment with no room for egos.

In this newly created role, you will be responsible for laying the commercial foundations, proactively hunting new business globally and performing the full sales cycle. Being the external facing ambassador of the business, you will provide consistent engagement with target clients and customers.

Proven experience selling complex, bespoke scientific services with prior experience in the pre-clinical CRO space. Comfortable engaging with translational, preclinical, or discovery teams. Experience managing long sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders. Confident operating without scripts, heavy CRM dependency, or rigid sales frameworks. Commercially driven, self-directed, and accountable for results. Proven senior sales leadership experience, strong commercial and negotiation skills, ability to manage and develop high-performing teams, experience with enterprise deals, and excellent communication skills. A results-driven, hands-on leader.
