Many of these assets are located within operational substations and switching stations, making authorised access and an understanding of substation safety requirements essential. This position offers the opportunity to work across a wide range of operational sites, supporting network maintenance, fault restoration, inspections and project delivery activities where substation access is a key requirement.

Essential Requirements

  • Mandatory Current SSEN Certificate of Authorisation Category 3 (Cat 3a) or equivalent utility network authorisation.

  • First Aid at Work qualification.
  • Additional utility or electrical safety authorisations.

What We're Looking For

You will be trusted to represent Neos Networks on customer and utility sites, ensuring all activities are carried out safely, professionally and in compliance with site-specific requirements. More importantly than a broad telecoms skillset, we are looking for individuals who can bring existing substation access capability, utility site experience and Cat 3 authorisation, enabling them to operate effectively from day one.
