This is a high‑impact leadership role with full accountability for revenue, strategy, and team performance across a critical sector of our business. If you thrive on strategic sales leadership, managing high‑value accounts, and driving new market growth, this is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute a sector‑wide go‑to‑market strategy, identify new revenue streams across transmission, distribution, and renewables, and align sector plans to broader business growth objectives.
  • Strategic Account Ownership: Build and maintain C‑level relationships, drive account growth, retention, and long‑term positioning, lead proactive account planning and maximise wallet share.
  • New Business Growth: Develop and deliver new logo acquisition strategy, build and maintain a strong, qualified pipeline, and establish market presence through industry engagement.
  • Commercial & Financial Ownership: Own revenue targets, growth, and margin performance, lead complex deal structuring and negotiations, and ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline governance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop Account Directors and Executives; set clear KPIs and drive high performance; build a strong talent pipeline and succession plan.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Pre‑Sales, Product, Delivery, and Marketing; shape compelling customer propositions and solutions; ensure smooth transition from sales to delivery.

  • Proven leadership experience in Utilities, Telecoms, or Infrastructure sales.
  • Track record of managing major strategic accounts (e.g. SSE‑level).
  • Strong new business and revenue growth delivery.
  • Experience leading and developing high‑performing sales teams.
  • Exceptional commercial acumen and deal negotiation skills.
