Responsibilities

• Ongoing bordereaux, data and performance analysis, ensuring all facility underwriting guidelines and mandates are adhered to.
• Ensure accuracy of data management and maintain awareness of each facility’s underwriting mandates.
• Keep internal data up to date for each facility and manage effective bordereaux administration, including chasing, uploading, validation and query resolution.
• Maintain accurate internal records for each facility and assist in preparing reports for coverholder and binding authority performance monitoring.
• Assist in creating and implementing binding authority performance reports to inform underwriter discussions and broker/coverholder contact.
• Prepare and manage an internal dashboard report covering portfolio performance and report to the Class Underwriter and senior management; design and implement a dashboard for ongoing portfolio transparency.
• Cooperate in regular coverholder meetings and reviews; organise and participate in regular client meetings.
• Prepare for upcoming renewals by liaising with relevant departments (Exposure Management, Actuarial, DUA, Claims); plan a suitable renewal management approach and liaise with other teams as needed.
• Maintain regular liaison with Pricing Actuaries to monitor and record ongoing performance; work closely with the Actuarial Team.
• Perform brief assessments on new business to evaluate suitability and assist the Class Underwriter in assessing new business opportunities.
• Conduct data preparation for annual reinsurance renewal and assist in preparation for the renewal.
• Collaborate with the Underwriting Services Inwards team to maintain recording requirements for risks attaching policy records and ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of all risks attaching premiums.
• Write and maintain process and procedures documentation; ensure clear, concise and up-to-date procedures; create, implement and continually improve technical and service standards.
• Strive to improve and enhance service; maintain a culture of continuous training and development; monitor and complete own training plan.
• Establish and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external customers; understand customer views and requirements; ensure Health & Safety responsibilities are observed.
• Adhere to statutory, personal and Company Health & Safety policy regulations; ensure AGML customers are treated fairly in accordance with Conduct Risk Policy and other relevant policies and procedures.
• Comply with applicable Lloyd’s Minimum Standards and AGML policies; reflect satisfactory performance in Conduct Risk MI; be aware of and adhere to GDPR obligations; report breaches to the Data Protection Officer as required; comply with GDPR-related policies and complete related training.
