- Qualified Actuary (FIA or equivalent)

Role Summary
The role supports the Lead Reserving Actuary and their team across all aspects of the Actuarial Function Holder responsibilities for Antares’ Bermuda operations. It involves working with Antares RE (a Bermuda‑domiciled reinsurance company), its subsidiary QEL, and group‑level reporting for Antares Holdings.
Key duties include:
- Coaching and technical support for junior actuarial team members
- Conducting quarterly reserving processes, portfolio reviews, and ad‑hoc deep‑dive analyses
- Analysis of quarterly reserving projections and A vs E Solvency II technical provisions and IFRS 17 fulfilment cashflows
- Assisting with reserving analysis and assessments of business profitability
- Participating in meetings alongside product‑line underwriters and claims personnel to discuss account performance, underwriting changes, and trends
- Producing quarterly reserving outcomes for the reserving committee, explaining core drivers and uncertainties
- Undertaking deep‑dive analysis into reserving issues or areas of interest to support overall reserving activity
- Collaborating with Finance and Risk functions to ensure financial close numbers capture all relevant actuarial outputs
- Contributing to the growth, development and sustained profitability of Antares Global
Key Accountabilities
- Produce quarterly reserving results for review
- Provide effective input to Business Planning
- Maintain appropriate systems practices, data, services and technical standards for the team's work
- Contribute to multi‑disciplinary projects
- Ensure own Personal Performance and Development Plan (PPDP) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) are maintained
- Maintain a positive internal and external business profile
- Support team members and provide coaching to junior team members
- Contribute constructive feedback and foster collaboration within and across teams
- Promote open communication and demonstrate appropriate behaviours
