Role Summary

The role supports the Lead Reserving Actuary and their team across all aspects of the Actuarial Function Holder responsibilities for Antares’ Bermuda operations. It involves working with Antares RE (a Bermuda-domiciled reinsurance company), its subsidiary QEL, and group-level reporting for Antares Holdings.

Key duties include:

  • Coaching and technical support for junior actuarial team members
  • Conducting quarterly reserving processes, portfolio reviews, and ad-hoc deep-dive analyses
  • Analysis of quarterly reserving projections and A vs E Solvency II technical provisions and IFRS 17 fulfilment cashflows
  • Assisting with reserving analysis and assessments of business profitability
  • Participating in meetings alongside product-line underwriters and claims personnel to discuss
