The finishing department ensures that our customers’ campaigns and event products arrive finished, trimmed, and ready for installation.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a finishing team across multiple material types, including large and small format items, and 3D structures.
- Set and execute daily tasks to meet campaign and event finishing requirements.
- Carry out cutting, kiss‑cutting and routing on Zund cutting tables.
- Perform laminating using heated rollers.
- Hand‑finish vinyl wrap mounting, weeding, eyelet and hemming of banners and textiles.
- Complete other manual finishing operations such as gluing, assembly and taping.
- Occasionally cover print operatives and assist as needed.
- Follow an online work schedule and all health & safety rules and procedures.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with the team and other departments.
- Report and provide precise information to management on request.
Qualifications
- Excellent time‑keeping and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and observe finishing techniques.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks.
- Organised, capable, friendly and helpful.
- Stress‑resistant and able to work under pressure.
- Great attention to detail with a focus on first‑time accuracy.
- Health and safety trained and able to perform manual handling.
- Experience operating latex printers is beneficial.
- Location & Working Hours
The role will be based in our Orpington office, Monday to Friday, and may require weekend work during peak periods.
