The Partnership Development Director is responsible for executing sales and marketing strategies to create new partnerships in EMEA, primarily within MotoGP. The role includes initiating, driving and securing new business relationships and contracts, identifying and initiating revenue-generating partnerships and prospective brand clients, fostering relationships with C-level marketing decision makers, and collaborating closely with PD team members globally and with clients, prospects, right holders, suppliers and media contacts.

Key responsibilities also involve:

  • Developing a strong business presence across specific sectors.
  • Generating sales leads by maintaining and growing relationships with MotoGP industry key players.
  • Analysing each brand’s target audiences, business objectives and strategies.
  • Targeting and nurturing senior-level relationships.
  • Providing strategic basis for prospect outreach.
  • Leading the development of proposals and presentations.
  • Driving new concept ideation and design processes.
  • Actively participating in the delivery of company credentials to win new business.
  • Identifying revenue-generating opportunities across the broader THE·TEAM group.

Skills and Experience:

  • Substantial experience in a similar position with a proven record of success in an international partnership development environment within MotoGP, targeting a range of large companies across all sectors.
  • Proven results in initiating and driving new business relationships in MotoGP.
  • Prior agency and business development experience, including past success in managing brands that have used all marketing techniques such as event, digital and brand marketing.
  • Extensive network of prospective clients.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated empathy and commitment to success, with a proven ability to manage expectations.
  • A revenue generator and proven winner with international business development success and long-term relationship management.
  • A strategic thinker who can provide value-added insights to THE·TEAM clients and the agency.
