Responsibilities
- Managing the UK account for one of our major tech clients.
- Producing a wide variety of projects, with a focus on B2B conferences.
- Robust project management, delivering multiple projects simultaneously.
- Core client lead with direct communications into senior clients and project stakeholders.
- Internal project lead, often with full project ownership and accountability.
- Scoping, budgeting, and building out proposals.
- Resourcing of project teams and recognizing/flagging the requirement for additional resources when relevant.
- Creating and managing key project documentation.
- Leading and working alongside internal account, creative, content, legal, strategy, and production teams to deliver projects from initial client briefing through to completion.
- Always having full oversight of all aspects of projects, being able to provide status reports when necessary, and regularly advising the team on next steps.
- Creating or providing input to deliverables briefs for creative/content team development.
- Ensuring the project deliverables align with the project strategy and KPIs as well as the wider project/campaign, and that the project team is delivering against them at all times.
- Managing budgets from initial scoping and regular reporting through to reconciliation, managing quotes, purchase orders, and invoices from suppliers.
- Ensuring adequate production resources have been scoped for the project in collaboration with the creative/content/production/strategy teams.
- Facilitating staff training and/or onboarding sessions ahead of projects.
- Stakeholder management between clients, agency, and also partners/rights holders, coordinating necessary approvals and rounds of amends at all stages of the project.
- Attendance on project, shoot, event, and rehearsal dates (this will likely include regular overseas travel).
- Anticipate, identify, and resolve any potential issues before they arise.
- Ensure risks and issues are being recorded, monitored, and proactively managed to minimise disruption to successful delivery.
- Mentorship or line management to junior members of the team.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in a comparable position, agency, or industry.
- Highly collaborative, team player, strong influencer, and relationship builder.
- Excellent client/stakeholder management skills at all levels.
- Extensive experience in B2B event delivery and show production.
- Line management and/or mentorship experience.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly (including overseas travel).
- A can-do attitude to problem solving, and an understanding of the importance of hustle to make a little go a long way.
- Must be able to multi-task and be flexible enough to react under stressful circumstances.
- Exceptional communication skills, both orally and in writing.
- Superior interpersonal skills and ability to create a rapport with people.
- Consistently able to craft a story through written communications.
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized with experience in MS Office software and other digital platforms (experience in other digital collaboration tools including Slack, Miro, Smart Sheets, etc. is a bonus).
- Knowledge of the tech, sports and/or entertainment industries would be advantageous.
