We're looking for a passionate and experienced Pub Operations Manager to join our team and oversee a portfolio of our inns, pubs and hotels across the Chestnut estate. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hospitality leader who thrives on inspiring people, maintaining high standards and driving business performance.

As Pub Operations Manager, you'll lead a portfolio of Chestnut properties, supporting General Managers and their teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences, strong commercial results and team development. You'll play a key role in coaching leaders, driving operational excellence and ensuring our values are embedded across every site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, support and inspire General Managers to achieve operational excellence.
  • Drive business performance through strategic planning, forecasting and budgeting.
  • Ensure consistently high standards of service, presentation and guest experience.
  • Work closely with central support functions including People, Marketing, Finance and Property.
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance, profitability and team engagement.
  • Champion Chestnut's culture and commitment to developing people.
  • Ensure compliance, health and safety and company standards are consistently maintained.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven multi-site hospitality leadership experience.
  • Strong experience operating within pubs, inns, hotels or destination hospitality venues.
  • A people-first leader who develops and motivates high-performing teams.
  • Commercially minded with strong experience managing P&L performance, labour and margins.
  • Excellent coaching, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A flexible, hands-on and solutions-focused approach.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Chestnut estate.
