Job Title: European Planning Coordinator

Location: Andover Head Office

Reporting To: European Inventory Manager

Main Purpose of the Role

  • Plan and manage the purchase of Kitchenware for the Central DC, considering the current stock base, lead times, demand forecasts, promotional activity, supplier reliability and stock holding strategy.
  • Demand planner for all Kallo Subs on Kitchenware. Managing communication with local marketing, securing the right flow of information.
  • Proactively work with Category Manager to streamline communication and maximise supply to demand by identifying opportunities and risks.
  • Liaise with customers, internal and external, to optimise the Supply Chain.
  • Define processes to ensure a smoother sales process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use demand forecasting software to calculate inventory requirements for Kitchenware to satisfy demand for assigned Subs/Product categories. Ensure account has been taken of new products, promotions and changes in rate of sale.
  • Raise and place purchase orders with suppliers – and monitor and report progress, ensuring full communication over the business of risk and opportunity.
  • Enhance communication with Ecommerce to ensure transitions are captured and stock is monitored during activities.
  • Ensure an efficient inbound process working with all suppliers and the Central DC.
  • Proactively facilitate cross departmental and market best practice in relation to inventory management and control to maximise sales and minimise inventory.

Knowledge Required

  • Experience of purchasing and understanding of stock.
  • Experience of working in a similar role.
  • Use and knowledge of MS Dynamics AX, ERP, MRP, forecasting systems.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Education to Degree level, CIPS membership.
  • Good professional level of English, additional European languages would be an asset.
  • Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
