Role Summary: As the Retail Merchandise Manager, you will be responsible for the allocation of merchandise for all Le Creuset retail channels across the US. You will partner with several departments including merchandising, planning, operations, store leadership, and finance to support the execution of Le Creuset's growth strategy. Through ongoing analysis, the Retail Merchandise Manager works to maximize sales and increase sell-through for Ecommerce, Signature Stores, Outlet Stores, and Factory to Table events. With continually changing promotions and frequent new product launches, you will work with all team members to ensure the product is where it needs to be when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and manage the store allocation and replenishment process while meeting company objectives
  • Forecast sales by SKU to ensure adequate inventory is allocated to achieve promo goals and sales budgets
  • Manage inventory increases for promotional items and reductions to achieve sell-through goals
  • Identify potential inventory liabilities and take action to reduce them
  • Collaborate with Planning and Merchandising on markdowns, order cancellations, or revised allocation strategies
  • Manage replenishment min/max levels to drive sales and reduce out-of-stock scenarios
  • Initiate and manage allocations for new product launches
  • Review visual floor sets to ensure appropriate inventory levels
  • Participate in Factory to Table events, supporting product allocation
  • Work closely with Retail Planning & Orders Manager and Demand/Supply Planning teams
  • Perform deep-dive sales and inventory analysis to drive sales and reduce risk
  • Conduct historical business reviews (sales, margin, pricing, markdowns, inventory turn, etc.)
  • Monitor store KPIs and propose improvements
  • Develop merchandising recommendations based on analysis
  • Support financial merchandise planning with Merchandising and Finance
  • Develop seasonal and monthly assortment and inventory plans

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of retail planning or store allocation experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Advanced Excel skills and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Self-starter who improves processes
  • Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
