The Head of Sales and Business Development is responsible for driving students to Le Cordon Bleu network of institutes worldwide through the co‑ordination of sales and marketing activities, within their assigned budget.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Marketing and Sales Plan to achieve KPIs.
- Manage and train sales team to achieve budget.
- EMP Management, Active Campaign, tracking inquiries, and sales document management.
- Suggest Business development and collaboration with third parties for B2B, study programmes and bridge programmes.
- Report on Sales & Marketing activities.
- Develop Sales and Marketing Strategy.
- Undertake market research, competitor analysis and surveys.
- Undertake Data and sales performance analysis and recommendations.
- Develop a marketing plan for leads creation and conversion (sales strategies, activities, targets, resource inputs, budget, reporting).
- Action Sales and Marketing Strategy.
- Implement the sales & marketing plan liaising with institutes to develop targeted recruitment (vocational, Higher Education, B2B and summer programmes).
- Design and implement promotional events, advertising campaigns, public relations and brand awareness strategies.
- Implement digital strategy to create leads.
- Maintain website and develop content across all channels.
- Manage SEO and advertising performances on the web channels.
- Generate sales through attendance at trade and education exhibitions, school visits, presentations, industry associations and events, school and university open days, networking functions, and through PR activities.
- Establish university and school networks, servicing, and training career counselors.
- Develop and conduct effective sales presentations.
- Plan and direct sales team training.
- Manage sales.
- Through EMP, maintain, review and follow‑up inquiries databases to maximise conversion to sales.
- Answer enquiries, undertake follow up and maintain database records on a daily basis.
- Continuous review of sales activities.
- Manage the team.
- Ensure sales team are allocated tasks according to their ability and complete and report activity in accordance with agreed timetable.
- Ensure the sales team efficiently follow up on leads and their targets.
- Develop a training programme to be approved by LCB head office.
- Undertake appraisals and performance reviews reporting back to LCB head office successes and areas of improvement.
- Provide sales reports following the sales event – local and international.
- Monitor and report sales and marketing activities including statistical analysis of performance on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Monitor the use of all trademark and intellectual property and immediately report any suspected infringement to LCB International.
- Control expenses and monitor budgets for sales and marketing activities.
- Act as a company ambassador, marketing representative, public relations spokesman and contribute to the worldwide recognition of Le Cordon Bleu and the trademark "Le Cordon Bleu".
