About Us:

We are recruiting for a newly-opened French restaurant in Stroud. We are looking for an experienced, hard-working and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to support the Head Chef.

The Role:

As Chef de Partie, you will work closely with our Head Chef and support him in delivering a regularly changing menu where every dish is of a high quality and showcases a range of techniques. Everything is made in house - from the mayonnaise to the bread - and you would have the great opportunity to learn from a professional that has been in the industry for over 20 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing dishes and ensuring food is served to a consistently high standard
  • Monitoring and maintaining consistent portion and waste control to maintain set profit margins
  • Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and tidy at all times in line with health and hygiene safety regulations
  • Undergoing any training required provided to assist in the role

About You:

  • Proven experience within hospitality (pubs or restaurants preferred)
