We recently opened Le Café NAC, an all-day dining concept in Belgravia, and are looking for an exceptional Pastry Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) to join our pastry team. This exciting new venue will offer French-inspired food and drinks with global influences, set in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere in one of London's most vibrant neighbourhoods.
Le Café NAC is the latest addition to BVC Hospitality, which operates a portfolio of innovative, globally recognized food concepts including NAC, Crème, 74 Duke, and Supernova. With a strong presence in London, Paris, and the Middle East, BVC Group is known for blending creativity with operational excellence, delivering outstanding dining experiences across multiple markets. POSITION SUMMARY
As a Pastry Demi Chef de Partie, you'll support the pastry team in delivering high-quality pastries, viennoiseries, and desserts that reflect the culinary identity of Le Café NAC. Working closely with the Head Pastry Chef, Pastry Sous Chef, and senior chefs, you'll play a hands-on role in daily preparation, service, and section organisation while continuing to develop your technical skills and attention to detail. This role requires passion, consistency, and a strong willingness to learn, while helping maintain the quality, creativity, and smooth operation of the pastry kitchen.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in preparing a range of pastries, viennoiseries, and desserts to the highest standard, following recipes, techniques, and presentation guidelines.
- Support the pastry section by organising mise en place and ensuring smooth, efficient service during busy periods.
- Maintain impeccable hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards at all times.
- Work collaboratively with the pastry team and wider kitchen, providing support where needed.
- Assist with stock rotation, portion control, and minimising waste in the pastry kitchen.
- Learn from and support senior pastry chefs, developing your technical skills and product knowledge.
- Ensure consistency in quality, presentation, and service delivery across all pastry items.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Pastry Foundation: Some experience as a Commis Pastry Chef or Demi Chef de Partie in a quality pastry or kitchen environment.
- Passion for Pastry: A genuine enthusiasm for pastry, baking, desserts, and continuous learning.
- Team Player: Ability to work well under pressure, with a collaborative and positive approach.
- Organisation & Efficiency: Strong time management skills to keep the pastry section running smoothly and efficiently.
