POSITION SUMMARY

As a Pastry CDP, you will be responsible for preparing excellent pastries and desserts for our guests, balancing pastry expertise with a dedication to culinary excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and produce a variety of pastries, viennoiseries, cakes, tarts, and desserts with precision and consistency.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, taste, and presentation at all times.
  • Support the senior pastry team in daily mise en place and service operations.
  • Contribute to recipe development and seasonal menu planning.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation.
  • Adhere to all food safety and health regulations.
  • Assist in stock rotation, inventory checks, and minimising waste.
  • Collaborate with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow and communication.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Pastry CDP or Demi Chef de Partie in a high-quality, fast-paced kitchen.
  • Strong hands-on experience with viennoiserie and laminated dough is essential.
  • Solid skills in tarts, cakes, and modern pastry techniques.
  • A passion for beautifully crafted pastry and precise presentation.
  • A team player with strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain consistency during busy service.
  • A desire to learn, grow, and contribute creatively to the pastry offering.
