POSITION SUMMARY
As a Pastry CDP, you will be responsible for preparing excellent pastries and desserts for our guests. You will balance pastry expertise with a dedication to culinary excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and produce a variety of pastries, viennoiseries, cakes, tarts, and desserts with precision and consistency
- Maintain high standards of quality, taste, and presentation at all times
- Support the senior pastry team in daily mise en place and service operations
- Contribute to recipe development and seasonal menu planning
- Ensure a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation
- Adhere to all food safety and health regulations
- Assist in stock rotation, inventory checks, and minimising waste
- Collaborate with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow and communication
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a Pastry CDP or Demi Chef de Partie in a high-quality, fast-paced kitchen
- Strong hands-on experience with viennoiserie and laminated dough is essential
- Solid skills in tarts, cakes, and modern pastry techniques
- A passion for beautifully crafted pastry and precise presentation
- A team player with strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain consistency during busy service
- A desire to learn, grow, and contribute creatively to the pastry offering
