Le Café NAC is a new all-day dining concept in Belgravia, and we’re looking for an experienced Demi Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. POSITION SUMMARYAs Demi Chef de Partie, you will support the Chef de Partie in running a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards. Working under the guidance of the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and Chef de Partie, you’ll play an important role in delivering an exceptional dining experience at every service. This position is perfect for a motivated chef who takes pride in their work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to take the next step in their culinary career within an exciting and dynamic hospitality group.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Support the Chef de Partie in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes within your section.
- Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and attention to detail during every service.
- Ensure your section is clean, organised, and prepared for service at all times.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and kitchen procedures accurately.
- Assist with stock rotation, deliveries, inventory checks, and minimising food waste.
- Maintain excellent hygiene, food safety, allergen, and health & safety standards.
- Work closely with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Support and guide junior team members or Commis Chefs when required.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef in a fast-paced, quality-driven kitchen.
- Technical Skills: Good knife skills, sound cooking techniques, and a clear understanding of kitchen operations.
- Team Player: Positive, reliable, and collaborative with strong communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: High standards when it comes to preparation, plating, cleanliness, and consistency.
