We are looking for a friendly, professional, and service-oriented Restaurant Host to be the first point of contact for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests with warmth and professionalism.
- Manage reservations, walk-in guests, and waiting lists using the restaurant's reservation system.
- Escort guests to their tables and ensure seating arrangements are efficiently coordinated.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and reservation enquiries promptly and courteously.
- Provide accurate information about the menu, promotions, and restaurant services.
- Coordinate with the service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth table turnover and guest flow.
- Assist in accommodating special requests, celebrations, and dietary requirements whenever possible.
- Handle guest feedback and concerns professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Support the front-of-house team during busy service periods to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Host, Guest Relations Executive, or in a customer service role within a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, well-groomed, and professional with a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable using reservation platforms and basic computer applications.
- Ability to remain calm and composed during busy service periods.
- Fluent in spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
